About Rhinoplasty Surgery
The best way to get a good result is to specialize in one field, and do it well.
Ideal Nose
Rhinoplasty – cosmetic or plastic surgery of the nose – is not simply about medical science and technical expertise. It is also about aesthetic appreciation and visual-spatial skills. Knowledge of the correct proportions makes all the difference to nasal surgery results.
Rhinoplasty Costs
Surgical costs depend on three considerations – a clinical assessment, the expected duration of surgery and the complexity of the procedure. Complex procedures take longer – sometimes to address scar tissue complications from surgery done elsewhere.
Rhinoplasty Procedures
The Nose Clinic uses a safe and pain-free local anesthetic or conscious sedation procedure not requiring hospitalization. The Clinic’s specialist team pioneered and perfected conscious sedation for rhinoplasty, and it’s now practiced internationally.

Frequently Asked Questions:
- The Nose ClinicWhat is the cost of a Nose job in South Africa? Most simple nose corrections and refinements cost about R50 000 (all inclusive). If you want ‘nasal tip’ or an advanced aesthetic refinement, or a revision, the cost will rise against the time it takes, the complexity of the surgery. A consultation allows us to assess your nose, and give you a quotation; that is the first, most important step in the preparation phase of planning for Rhinoplasty.
- Cape TownI am African – Can Rhinoplasty work for me? Absolutely! Dr. Swanepoel is a world renown authority on the subject of “Ethnic” Rhinoplasty.! The same goal exists for rhinoplasty performed on Africans and Asians as for rhinoplasty performed on Caucasians, which is to build a natural-appearing structure that blends harmoniously with the face. The goal of surgery should be an attractive African or Asian nose, not the creation of an attractive Caucasian nose on an African or Asian face.
- WikipediaWhat is Rhinoplasty? Rhinoplasty (/ˈraɪnəˌplæsti/, Greek: ῥίς rhis, nose + πλάσσειν plassein, to shape), a nose job, is a plastic surgery procedure for correcting and reconstructing the form, restoring the functions, and aesthetically enhancing the nose, by resolving nasal trauma (blunt, penetrating, blast), congenital defect, respiratory impediment, and a failed primary rhinoplasty.
